Stamping Equipment
The Technology Behind Metal Stamping and Presswork Expertise
With more than 75 years of experience, Clamason operates one of the most advanced stamping facilities in Europe. From conventional progression tool pressings through to complex drawn parts, our equipment covers the full range of precision metal component production.
Across our UK and Slovakian sites, presses from 100 to 400 tonnes deliver accuracy, repeatability and high output speeds of up to 80 strokes per minute.
This flexibility allows us to produce parts from the size of a postage stamp to an A4 sheet, in materials including aluminium, stainless steel, copper, brass, phosphor bronze and nickel silver.
Our equipment is capable of handling a wide range of material thicknesses and geometries, supporting the diverse needs of OEMs across e-mobility, medical device and industrial technology sectors.
Equipment For Precision Components
High-Speed Stamping
Clamason’s high-speed stamping area features Bruderer and Kaiser presses producing over 1,000 parts per minute. Ideal for small, high-volume components, this capability ensures exceptional precision and material efficiency, with optimised tooling and strip layout delivering maximum value for customers.
Large Stamping
Our advanced Chin Fong GTX 400T press provide the flexibility to produce larger, complex components with outstanding accuracy. The GTX 400T enhances stamping quality, tool life and safety at our Slovakian site.
Multi-Slide Pressing Technology
For intricate, high-volume parts, Clamason operates a range of multi-slide presses from Heenan & Froude, Rockwell and Bihler. This equipment allows us to form several complex shapes simultaneously, with minimal material waste and no need for secondary operations.
The process feeds the material on its side through a cutting tool and multiple forming stations, each precisely timed to create different forms in one cycle. Coining can also be integrated within the same operation, further enhancing dimensional accuracy and finish.
This capability makes multi-slide pressing an ideal solution for sectors where precision, efficiency and material utilisation are key – such as electrical systems, connectors and building technology components.
