Precision Stamping
Europe's leading manufacturer of precision metal stampings
Precision Stamping
Clamason delivers precision metal stampings to meet the most precise customer specifications. Our equipment ranges from 100 to 300 tonnes and operates at speeds of up to 80 strokes per minute, allowing us to manufacture components with the perfect blend of accuracy and value-driven efficiency.
Whether it’s a small, intricate part or a larger, more complex pressing, our machinery handles a wide variety of materials with ease. From conventional progression tooling to deep-drawn production, we offer complete flexibility - producing parts that range in size from a postage stamp to an A4 sheet, all finished to the highest quality standards.
High Speed Stamping
Clamason stamps 0.1 - 0.5 mm materials on 20 - 110T Bruderer, Kaiser and Chin Fong presses running at up to 1,000 strokes per minute. Integrated camera inspection ensures consistent, high precision output at extreme speeds.
Large Stamping
Materials from 0.5 - 4.0 mm are formed on 160 - 400T Chin Fong, Weingarten and Seyi presses, running at 25 - 80 strokes per minute. Where needed, secondary operations can be completed using manual presses.
High Speed Stamping
Since 1947, Clamason has specialised in the production of small, high-precision pressed components. Today, our dedicated high-speed stamping division represents the next stage of that evolution - manufacturing over 1,000 parts per minute on advanced Bruderer and Kaiser presses.
Working with materials such as stainless steel, brass, copper, phosphor bronze and nickel silver in thicknesses from 0.1mm to 1mm, our engineers optimise strip layouts and material yield to deliver both accuracy and value for money. Every component is subject to rigorous quality control, using in-line camera inspection for 100% verification or non-contact Nikon measurement systems for batch checking.
Our high-speed capabilities support a wide range of critical applications, including medical devices, tyre pressure sensors, smoke detectors and consumer electronics - where precision, reliability and repeatability are essential.
Large Stamping
Large stamping is used when parts need more material behind them. We produce components in thicknesses from 0.5mm up to 4.0mm on high-tonnage Chin Fong, Weingarten and Seyi presses.
Press capacities range from 160 to 400 tonnes, with typical running speeds between 25 and 80 strokes per minute. This slower, more controlled process is well suited to forming heavier sections while keeping shape and consistency under control.
Some parts require additional forming once they come off the main press. Where that’s the case, secondary stamping operations can be carried out using manual presses, allowing specific features or adjustments to be added without redesigning the primary tool.
Large stamping is commonly used for structural or load-bearing components, where strength and durability matter as much as dimensional accuracy."
